Mum & Baby Yoga
Blooming Mama’s mum & baby yoga classes offer you a space to slow down and find some calm in a period of your life that can feel anything but!
With time to chat and reflect with other mums going through the same experiences, gently move your body in a way that supports your postnatal recovery and most importantly to rest and relax with your baby by your side - mum and baby yoga classes are here to support you in the ways that matter most.
Each class starts with time to talk through anything that’s on your mind, or just to sit and listen if that’s what you feel comfortable with. We’ll then take the time to quiet our minds through gentle calming breathing exercises, before moving on to a series of gentle, baby inclusive movements designed to support your post-birth recovery and help you to strengthen your bond with your little one. Every class finishes with a guided relaxation to allow you some much needed time for rest and relaxation.
It’s often the case that the babies don’t get the memo on the rest and relaxation, and that’s totally fine! There are no expectations on babies, and you’re free to do what you need to soothe your little one at any point during class. Feeding, changing, playing and soothing are all completely welcome. These classes are about more than just exercise, they’re about providing you with a space where you feel welcome and supported, no matter what mood your baby might be in on any particular day!
